Who we are
PixelArte (pixelarte.do) builds websites, apps and tools for businesses in the Dominican Republic.
PixelArte Social is a private tool we use only with the Instagram accounts we manage: @pixelarte.do and @plewstyresrd (Plews Tyres Dominican Republic). It is not a public app: nobody else signs in to it.
What data we read
When you comment on a post by those accounts or send them a direct message, Instagram lets us read:
- your Instagram username;
- the text of the comment or message, and its date;
- the numbers Instagram gives the comment, the conversation and your account, which we need to reply to you.
We don't read your password, your contacts, your location or anything beyond what you write to those accounts.
What we use it for
Only to read and answer your comments and messages, and to keep a record of the replies we sent, so we never answer you twice.
We don't use it for advertising, we don't build profiles with it and we don't sell it.
Where it is kept
On the business's own computer in the Dominican Republic, in files only our team uses. The access to Instagram is kept protected in that computer's Windows Credential Manager.
We don't sell or share this data.
Who else processes it
Meta (Instagram) holds it because it is the platform where you write it, under its own privacy policy.
To draft our replies we use an artificial intelligence assistant (Claude, by Anthropic), which processes the text of comments and messages to help us answer you. No other company receives it.
How long we keep it
The copy of the comments and messages we read is replaced each time we read them again.
We keep the record of the replies we sent only as long as we need it to answer you and know what we told you. If you ask us to delete your data, we do it within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the data we keep about you. Write to proyectos@pixelarte.do.
The steps to delete it are on Delete your data. You can also delete your own comments and messages in the Instagram app.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update this page and its date.
La versión en español está en pixelarte.do/privacidad.
